Jeffery Dale Parker

Jeff Parker has played guitar & mandolin professionally for many years along with various other stringed instruments. Starting in the mid 70's, he played with the bluegrass band "Surewood" around the Seattle area. He later moved to Alaska and worked as a solo performer. With years of working on the road, Jeff has honed his craft playing a large variety of musical styles.  In 2003, he published a CD entitled "It's About Time" consisting of original music (and one haunting cover) and is currently writing a second CD of original works. 

In addition to originals, Jeff performs a diverse list of covers in the Americana, acoustic rock, folk, and country genres; so every performance is tailored based on requests and audience interaction.  He can also provide instrumental, fingerstyle guitar and/or mandolin for background music.  He loves improvising and is meticulous in his playing; the ideal combination for studio work. 

Jeff often plays with Anne McKennon, a flutist, in the duo 'Road Less Traveled' around the Jacksonville, FL area. Road Less Traveled plays more Celtic-influenced acoustic rock and folk.
