"The Fruit” dares to question a fundamental side of our personalities. The song can be enjoyed as simply a powerful and engrossing neo-darkwave track about fractious relationships but its composition and lyrics suggest a depth, intellect and soul searching that is rare in popular music. - Queen City Sound and Art (USA)
"Despite the dark name Jazz Funeral, the members of this Canadian group record a very moving and groovy electronic indie pop, with strong beats, rich juicy sound from analog synthesizers and live guitar parts" - DJ Mishka (Russia)
"Nice bass synth; good vocals. It sounds as if Kraftwerk were in the new rave era" - Grotesqualizer (USA)
"A big, confident electro-synth driven jam" - We All Want Someone To Shout For (USA)
"An uplifting and infectious retro-tinged banger" - When The Horn Blows (U.K.)
"Delicious vocal and electronic bassline" - EDM Reviewer
"Brooding spaciousness; the vocal is haunting and powerful; there's so many dark, gritty, explorative textures here" - When The Horn Blows (U.K.)
"A nice blend of styles; quite eclectic" - EARMILK (USA)
"Very cool indie pop jam" - Santa Rosa Records (USA)
