Jay La'Mont is recording artist that has a perfect sound mixture of hip-hop, electronic, and indie music. His influences include Bob Marley, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Rage Against the Machine and Skrillex.
Jay La'Mont has been making music since the age of 7, learning how to play the piano and also percussion instruments. Now La'Mont plays over 5 instruments and has been recording his own music since 2010. Since, Jay La'Mont has produced for many local favorites from the Pittsburgh region and also has worked with Chief Keef affiliate S.D which helped boosted La'Mont's exposure.
He released his first project Before the Genius in 2015 and has since released two more projects: Keep it Foolishh Vol.1 (2016) and Foolishh Flame (2016). Throughout the release of these project he has done many live shows including 2 VH1 Music Festivals.
Currently, Jay La'Mont is working on his fourth project which will include production from mostly himself.
