Londons' Jasmine Lloyd had a dream to make her favorite songs come alive by tapping into her roots of Indian music. With the musicianship of Sitar/Guitarist Eric Lovell and World Percussionist James Brock, the three were able to navigate both waters of fusing American and Indian music for a fusion sound that is both familiar and intriguing. The band started out with a house residence at an Indian restaurant. While still anchored there, they have expanded their territory to bring the sound to new audiences. Eric swaps Sitar for guitar throughout the evening while James plays different instruments like clay pots called Udu, kettle drums from Rajasthan called Nagara and various tambourines like Kanjira, the monitor lizard skin drum from South India.
