Bio
Janine Diaz Whitt is a singer, songwriter working in the northeast tri-state area (NJ, PA, DE). Drawing inspiration from many different types of music, Janine loves the freedom of singing and writing in many different styles. Being a first generation American coming from a Cuban family from Tampa, Florida, Janine especially enjoys singing Spanish music like salsa and Latin jazz. Having sung in various cover/wedding bands since 2008, her ability to embody different musical styles has become her signature trait, which has carried over into her writing. Her 2019 album "Evolution" reflects exactly that, and delivers personal messages rooted in her own experiences.
