James Mullen is an upstate New York-based singer-songwriter who has been compared by listeners to the likes of Jeff Tweedy and Jackson Browne. James has been writing lyrics ever since high school as a member of Queensbury, NY-based post-grunge band Last Minute from 2010-2012. James operated as the frontman and main lyricist for Last Minute during that time, fronting a band that also included talented local musicians Cody Platt on drums, Anthony Valente, Joe Allen and Luc Bourgault on guitars, and Matt Ringer on bass guitar. However, it wasn't until after the band went their separate ways in 2012 that James taught himself guitar and began writing his own music with a heavy indie-folk influence. Mullen is currently in the process of writing new music after releasing his very first solo album, titled "Songs From Another Time", in September 2017. He also released the single version of the song "You'll Be Singin'" in August of 2018 and has been working with a new band that includes Luc Bourgault on lead guitar, Mike Dardas on Bass Guitar, and Cody Platt on Drums.
