Jai' Eagle

Jonathan Parker, known to most as “Jai’ Eagle” is a Miami native that is slowly, but most certainly captivating the hearts of God’s people, one soul at a time. For years, he has been perfecting his talents and aggressively waiting on the Lord to grant him both provision and permission to share his ministry with the world. His journey is built upon Isaiah 40:31, which states, “They that wait upon the Lord shall have renewed strength; they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and never faint”; hence the name “Jai’ Eagle”. He truly believes that in his obedience of waiting on the Lord, his testimony has been built; he’s been broken and pruned, but also mastered and crafted into what God has called him to be so that his ministry can infect the hearts of everyone around him.

Jai’ Eagle released his very first solo EP entitled The Memoir in September of 2012. It is a story of the many ways that he encountered God over the years. It took him a while to truly understand exactly what it means to "wait on God". However, by grace, God continued to pull him back, and show him how it was done. The Memoir describes that journey, and has been guaranteed to be of encouragement to every ear that receives it. This EP blessed the ears of over 4,000 people digitally over the course of just 3 months of its release date. He has distributed nearly 1,000 physical copies of the EP through local and extended performances, has recorded 3 music videos, and as his faith pressed him towards his next project, it was fascinating to witness what else God had going in his ministry.

Since Jai’ Eagle’s release of The Memoir, his ministry has been moved faster than he himself could've imagined. He shared the stage with some of our local gospel best, including, Giel, T-Strike, Fee-Lo, and many others. In the Spring of 2014, Jai' released his first full-length album, Semicolon. Semicolon is a very unique collection of the encounters and experiences of a young man as he travels through the journey's of life. There were so many road blocks, obstacles, mistakes made, even outright disobedience that could have led to final stops; to the end. But for God's grace, the ending of every one of those experiences never left him alone; they always made way for a second chance ..no periods; just semicolons. 

Jai’ is now riding the wave of the 2018 Spring release of his all new solo album, Guns + Roses. The eclectic, soulful, unconventional work of art is another that has taken every listener by surprise!
