Hailed as "one of the most exciting voices in American music" by Gordon Raphael (producer of The Strokes ), Jackson Ulmer has no musical boundaries and endless possibilities. Pulling inspiration from modern guitar greats like Jack White and melody infused rock like Albert Hammond Jr., his live show brings an incredible amount of energy.
His debut EP “Shades of Blue” was met with critical and local acclaim, premiering on Birmingham Mountain Radio program, “O Brother Radio.”
Following up in 2018 with the single “Bad with You," his biggest release yet with the music video gaining thousands of views across social media.
Following in the footsteps of artists like St. Vincent, Imagine Dragons, and John Mayer, Jackson studies songwriting at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
