Generally, when a Hip Hop Rap artist attacks ‘real’ subjects with their tracks, there’s a subsequent lack of hype from the beat. But J Faith made no compromise with his latest single “Distractions” which was polished to absolute perfection by producer 8-BZA.
With catchy lyrical hooks and a potently high-octane EDM beat, it won’t be long before you join me in agreement that J Faith is one of the most exciting up and coming Hip Hop artists around right now. For someone with a particular penchant for meter and rhyme, the tight lyrics resonate like spoken word poetry, only J Faith adds plenty of flavour to his charismatically instantly accessible lyrical style. The lyrics run through pretty much everything that’s wrong in our 21st century society in under 4 minutes. If that’s not a mark of achievement, I don’t know what is.

As someone where hip hop fell into his lap, J Faith continuously researches the past of the culture in a way that helps him push forward with his music. With a mindset of creating music for those who deal with every day problems, the idea of remaining positive and being in the right mind state to get out of difficult situations and living life is the focus of his passion.
A love for art, drawing, and his own music preferences keeps him inspired every day when creating music.
From having everything he had to losing it all, he looks to motivate those working hard every day to achieve a dream. With each project, a story is told from the first project "I'm Still Human" to his latest, "Settled" - finally finding solid ground in his life to take the necessary steps to grow. Influences include Joe Budden, Eminem, J Cole, NF, DMX, to name a few, with a love of all styles of music.
His motivation? To see those around him happy, to inspire others to enjoy life and know things will turn out ok with a positive attitude, the enjoyment of making great music, and knowing he can make great music.
