Exclusive Interview With Greg Forde
Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Forde.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve been a hip-hop head my entire life and I decided to test my hand at writing music. My back was up against the wall and I was homeless so I picked up my pen and started writing a verse everyday and posting on Instagram(I called it wake up and bust). People started recognizing me and my following grew. I was able to record my first full album and released it on all platforms, it’s called “DID IT MY WAY” and it just went platinum on streams as of April 2021. Just believing in myself and grinding.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I’ve had to overcome not having capital, being homeless, being told no a lot, and finding the right people that believed in my talent and wanting to record me.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a hip-hop artist and I specialize in writing songs. My work ethic is unmatched, I try to write at least one song a day. I don’t play around with my art and when it’s time to work, it’s all work! I’m going to get it done. I write on any kind of track because I do not want to be pigeon holed into being one kind of artist. I love all music and I want to create masterpieces on everything.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My best piece advice for others is to follow your own dreams, don’t let anyone tell you who you are. Invest in yourself and keep going no matter the odds.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means you are following your dreams and making a healthy living off of them. You are able to take care of yourself, your family, and others in need without the stress of not being able to afford anything. Also, when strangers can relate to and appreciate my art. Making a difference and having an impact in the world.
What’s next for you?
I’ve started my own company LOSS CAUZ ENTERTAINMENT and I’m looking to make that an extreme success. Being able to realize my dream while being able to help other up and coming artists achieve their dreams and reaching financial freedom the right way.
Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
People can connect with me on Instagram(@jdange23), on Twitter(@jdange23), and on my email(jdange23@losscauzent.com) - US times
Today we’d like to introduce you to J Dange.
Hi J, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always been into music and I discovered when I was young that I had a gift to write lyrics. I turned that into rapping and started to record and let the world hear me.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a challenging road due to limited capital. That’s what helps with studio time, promotion, and marketing. So the journey has been slow but steady!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a hip-hop recording artist who just recently hit 1 million streams on my debut album “DID IT MY WAY”! I’m most proud that I didn’t listen to anyone tell me what I could and couldn’t do, I stayed true to myself and followed my dreams regardless of the obstacles and now the world is hearing my gift. I’m not following the norm of the current rap music, I’m bringing real lyricism mixed with today’s production and making something special for everyone to vibe to.
What does success mean to you?
Being able to be financially independent to live your life and take care of your family and friends! Being able to help others in need without it impacting you in a negative way!

We had the good fortune of connecting with J. Dange and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi J., we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I was offered a few record deals but they wanted my publishing, masters, and creative control. I was offered a lot of money, a house, and vehicle but the deal would have me at a complete disadvantage. I realized that if they wanted to offer me all that, I am worth entirely more. I’ve been in the corporate world for a lil bit now so I decided to start my own business and take a leap of faith on myself. I wanted to start something that was truly beneficial for the artist and the community. I will be doing artist development, marketing, promoting, and financial literacy training that the artist has to go through to be on my label. We need to create wealth for the creatives so they can take care of themselves without stressing and their families. So that drive was behind me finally starting my own business and walking away from the workers mentality that I had been in for years.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a music artist that will create on whatever platform my soul is feeling. I do not want to be pigeon holed as just a rapper, I am well beyond that. I put my feelings, experiences, and dreams into my music so people can truly relate to what I go through. I make my music for me, stuff that I want to hear, if people don’t like it, it doesn’t bother me, if they do like it, it’s an honor to hear but that doesn’t drive me. Music is my therapy, it has truly saved my life and allowed me to have a purpose. I worked in the corporate world for a long time and learned management techniques and sales expertise which has gotten my professional skills sharpened. I decided to take that wisdom and work thing and put it into my own business that I’m passionate about. It’s not an easy journey because the main thing I need for the company in capital and that’s the hardest thing to get. I have all the talent and platforms to release music in the world, but the capital is what I need for marketing and promoting to get everything in front of the masses. I still working on overcoming that challenge now. I’ve learned to have patience, not to doubt the process, keep others opinions out of your thoughts, and to keep pushing no matter what the setbacks and no’s may be. I want the world to know that I am a humble assassin when it comes to my music and my main focus is to make sure kids and that underprivileged know that there is a way out and to never give up. I am a walking example of that. I’ve survived a lot so I want my testimony to shine for those that need it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Davidoff’s of Geneva cigar lounge on the strip for good company, service, and amazing networking. We would go to Marche Bacchus for some amazing French Bistro. I would them take them to Double Helix wine and whiskey lounge for a great atmosphere and to relax with great tapas type food. We would definitely hit a few Vietnamese Pho spots and some Korean BBQ spots. When we are ready to party, I would take them to Chateau in the Paris Hotel, Tao nightclub, and Marquee at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Also, I would take them to Downtown Summerlin for a plethora of options to eat and chill because it is a completely relaxed environment up there.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out the non-profit group “Journey To Outstanding Youth” organization because they have helped me on my entrepreneurial journey and they have partnered with my company “Loss Cauz Entertainment LLC” to make an impact in the industry and in the community. I would like to shout out all of my family and friends that have supported me on my journey and kept encouraging me to finally do my thing. Also, I would like to shout out all of my fans that allowed my album “Did It My Way’ to get to a million streams and growing.
