Kansas City native Ivy Roots grew up in a musical family, exposed to music in church, school choir, and musical theater she gained the tools at a very young age, to craft her unique sound.
With her controlled kind of crazy vocals Ivy Roots has taken the crowd captive on many different occasions, platforms, and stages in her hometown and across the US; such as New York City's Lincoln Center, Kansas City Crossroads Music Festival, The American Jazz Museum, Folk Alliance International, So Far Sounds, SXSW, TX, APCA Nationals in Orlando, FL, Acoustic coffee house sessions & College tours across the nation.
