Bio
Isaac is a performing freelance violinist hailing from Mississauga and studying for his Bachelor of Music in Education at Western University. He has been playing music since the age of 4 and has been performing professionally at events and venues of all kinds for many years.
Equipped with only a violin and looping pedal Isaac creates live-looped orchestral pop covers as a one man string band! Instrumental covers include: One Republic’s “Secrets”, Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”, Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel” and many more. In the summer of 2014, Isaac was crowned the winner of GTA’s Got Talent with his looped rendition of Ellie Golding’s “Burn”.
Although trained classically, Isaac has experience with all genres of music including Jazz, Scottish/Irish fiddling, country, hip-hop, folk, EDM and more. As a student and actively performing musician, Isaac is very involved with the music scenes in London, Toronto and throughout the GTA. These include his various positions with the Don Wright Faculty of Music Students’ Council, the Western University Orchestra, CHRW Radio 94.9FM, and the Mississauga Arts Council.
Isaac also sings and writes original music as part of a newly formed band: The Lonely Boys.
Isaac is open to artistic collaborations of any sort and is available for weddings, corporate functions, private parties, outdoor festivals, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and much more!
