Hailing from the eastside of Pittsburgh music was always in Ira Soul's blood since he was a child growing up listening to the likes of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, all the soul greats to new jack swing that opportunity led to Ira performing and opening up for national acts like The Delfonics, Howard Hewett, Levert 2, Confunkshun, Day 26, Raheem Devaughn, and Bobby V
In 2009 Ira Soul released his very first album titled "Soulful Hip Hop" an album with a hip hop/neo soul element to a east coast sound which won an award for "Best Male Singer" for the 2011 Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards as time went by Ira continued working on more projects 2012 "My Purpose To Succeed", 2016 " 2nd LP" to performing in the 36th Annual WPXI Holiday Parade
