Bio
As the recent recipient of the RAWBaltimore Musician of the Year award, iNdē has the potential to become a household name for fans of all ages.
Born on September 1, 1988, Bobbie Ray McCormick Jr. has always been an avid music listener. His parents would listen to everything from N.W.A and Geto Boys to Phil Collins and Anita Baker. As a child he would amaze family and friends by reciting Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony lyrics line for line without missing a beat. He didn't pick up a pen and start writing rhymes until he met neighborhood friend and fellow artist at the age of 13.
Instantly he gravitated toward the art and has never stopped. Initially it was something he did for fun at parties and with his closest peers during high school. Years after high school he met a coworker that had a makeshift studio in his basement which was where his first project [iNde Mewzick: HiStory] was conceived. iNdē never had expectations for this project, little did he know that was the beginning of his journey.
Since his first release in August of 2014, iNdē has created two more projects, performed at numerous venues such as The Howard Theater, Creative Alliance, Metro Gallery, and Baltimore's highly coveted Artscape.
iNdē has created hoodies that exemplify his belief structure. B.R.O (Believe Reach and Obtain) is a universal message, if you truly Believe in a vision then Reach for it and in time you shall Obtain what you desire.
There is much more to come from this artist out of Owings Mills, his continual growth is displayed every time he grabs a mic. iNdē is definitely one to keep close tabs on for the years to come.
