Katrina "Ida Weston" Ruth was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. From the age of five,she has aspired to be a singer. Raised by a supportive single mother, she was placed in performing art schools since elementary. She is a graduate of the Cleveland School of Arts, where she was a vocal major. She has classical and jazz influenced vocal training. " I hope to do things with my music that most Cleveland singers are afraid to do," she says. Her style ranges from artist like Adele to Rihanna, or Lauren Hill to Beyonce." I want to do it all. I want to make people feel all different types of emotions. In 2013 she moved from Cleveland to Miami to further her aspirations in the music scene. She has spent the her years in Miami fine tuning her craft with various producers, and working in the studio." I sing because it makes me happy and I hope my singing makes others happy too" she states.
