Iciclechain approaches song writing from a "texture" approach, beginning with a musical feeling and soundcsape and developing the songs through instrumentation, lyrics, voices and production. Sexual innuendo and emotional paradox are apparent throughout the songs. Iciclechain is more of a community than a band. During the songwriting process, the instrumentation evolves and grows, adding the proper mood and spirit to the piece. Iciclechain uses a talented group of musicians and friends to complete the canvas.
