"Iban is one of the most compelling young saxophonists I’ve heard. His performances are armed with a sincere and historically informed sense of melody, an exciting harmonic approach, and a drive to play this music with integrity. These qualities make Iban one of the top young saxophonists to keep an ear on for the future of Jazz." - Ramsey Castaneda
“Iban plays with creativity and fire. He is truly chasing his own voice, and for the listener, this is an exciting journey.” - Bryan Lipps
“Iban Lee epitomizes the best artistic impulses of his generation: knowledge and love of what has come before, understanding of what’s happening right now, and the talent and desire to contribute to what may be in the future.
