Ian Flores iCue

Ian Flores iCue is a born and raised Hip Hop Artist from Hamilton Ontario. 

Ian has been writing and putting together poetry since the age of 14, using it to deal with the unstable environment that was presented at home, the depression that plagues his mentality, addiction as well the obstacles at work, school and relationships. 

Due to a lack of confidence a career in Hip Hop was never pursued until the age of 19 and since then it has proven to be a mental struggle but a memorable one.

After working a few dead end jobs and being in and out of counselling for 3 years Ian came to the conclusion it was “better to attempt and not progress than never attempt and be full of regret”.

At the age of 21 Ian released his first full length track entitled "Jack N Jill" with the help of his good friend Lee Callaghan. 

Since the release of his first song, 4 EPs have been put together (In My Room, Self Reflection, New Chapter,and Work In Progress), each depicting a different area of his life. 

Ian Flores iCue is a determined artist with a relentless passion for music and really any form of art, he has never been the type of individual to pack up and leave so easily. 

After being denied by venues or receiving no replies back for stage time Ian took it upon himself to rent some equipment and to set himself up in front of his family operated business Hammocks Monimbo to perform during Hamilton’s Art Crawl Event… needless to say the event was a complete success. 

Ian continues to perform and has performed at Hamilton’s own Home Grown, This Ain’t Hollywood, and The Stair Case Theatre as well as performances in Toronto at Club Revival, The Smiling Buddha, Hard Luck Bar and The Mod Club.

At the age of 29 Ian Flores iCue remains determined with a 5th and 6th EP in the works, continues to hone his skills in production, producing for other artist in the Greater Toronto Area.

Ian is now working with promoters to increase his opportunities on stage while learning the ins and outs of business in the music world. 

The future looks promising for this individual.
