To say that Ian Beert & the Strangers have been playing music together for 10 years is to tell only half the story. These five musicians have not only played together, but have persevered together through the good, the bad, and the sometimes-quite-ugly of the journey of faith; and it is in this context that their music has formed. No doubt this band likes to rock, but their music has first and foremost become a way to express their feelings about the God they love. It is, however, in the gritty honesty of rock'n'roll that their message and music have found harmony, with lyrics and sound that are equally vulnerable, soulful, and bold. Inspired by artists like Ryan Adams, The Killers, and Third Eye Blind, and venturing from straightforward rock riffs ("Now I'm in Love With You") to stinky funk grooves ("It's Worth Believing") to 90s-esque ballads ("Your Love Reaches"), Ian Beert & the Strangers hope to bring a fresh new sound to the Christian music genre that will move both your body and your soul.
