Bio
After attending his first EDM concert featuring Deadmau5 and Skrillex for his 16th birthday, Tyler Shiffer left feeling inspired to learn how to make electronic music. He ended up playing his first show at a local Electronic Tuesday’s gig at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom and with lots of work and dedication Tyler ended up headlining his own show years later at Cervantes’ then another at The Larimer Lounge.
After a wild night involving drugs and partying, Tyler decided to take some time away from the music scene to self reflect. Phocust says that it is his faith that led him to return and share his love for the music and his love for the people in the EDM culture.
Playing at a number of clubs and festivals around the country such as Beta Nightclub, Space Yacht, Global Dance Festival, Supernatural Festival, HeavenFest (2 years), and more as well as sharing the bill with many recognizable acts such as Adventure Club, Au5, Chime, Deadmau5, Dirt Monkey, Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Illenium, Jantsen, MUST DIE!, Trivecta and others; Phocust is a big up-and-comer in today’s electronic music scene and is definitely one to keep your eye on!
