Bio
Hustle Rose is a band of musicians fronted by singer-songwriter David Glen. Creating a sound of soul, funk, pop and blues with the heart of their hometown, Minneapolis, MN fueling the rhythm of their dance ready, love songs.
Performing and recording with Christopher Smith, Brandon Commodore Jr., Ian Young, Micah Fitch, Bret Denison, along with the Hustle Horns Nelson Deveraux and Noah Ophoven-Baldwin.
The band takes musical influences from soul and funk legends Al Green, Funkadelic and Prince with a lyrical and vocal influence of John Mayer and Raphael Saadiq.
The live sound brings crowds together, ready to sing and dance, relating to the infectious emotion of the music with heavy grooves and love stories throughout an evening with Hustle Rose.
After their 2008 EP release, “The Sugar Water�, the band is currently wrapping up recording on their 2nd release, a full album entitled "Stay in My Dreams" in Minneapolis, MN to be toured and distributed Nationally. The band is also known for backing up Local Artists K.Raydio, Laura Bell, and Kison for all live performances.
