How Scandinavian was established in 2008 by songwriter Bryan Santizo, and has been his brainchild ever since. HS dabbles in various styles of traditional songwriting, and blends it with an abrasive and keen sense of noise, art rock, post-punk, dream pop, and space rock sounds.
On studio recordings, How Scandinavian maintains a layered, and dense sense of production that utilizes the space and limitations of a home recording studio to the highest degree.
In live performances, How Scandinavian's revolving live band exchanges the abstract layers and expressionism for pure power and precision that reveals new layers once hidden in the music.
