"Two Killer Tracks From Two Need to Know Acts"

"Made Man" Single Review - This one has teeth. The bluesy rock sound works in the same space as acts like Black Keys and Gary Clark Jr. although they tread their own ground with more indie sensibilities. The guitar on this is gritty and infectious. - Ear to the Ground Music

"Album Spotlight "No Sleep""

It’s difficult to pin [HONEY HOUNDS'] sound into a single music style. Melding elements of blues, reggae/funk and a dash of Southern rock creates something curiously groovy and enjoyable for just about anyone. The drawl of the vocals, the crunchy guitar riffs and the ever-changing style of influences work well in their latest release, titled, No Sleep. The debut album rounds out at a little over 40 minutes, with eight soulful and bluesy tracks. - Void Magazine

"Honey Hounds to Release New EP, Show Dates Announced"

Today I can only faintly recall the scenes, the cast and the plot, but the soundtrack is still vividly clear. That year belonged to [Honey Hounds], with “Hole in One” endlessly looping while I cruised A1A with the sunroof open looking for nothing to do.

Nicholas Izzard’s bluesy funk-rock guitar and easy-living lyrics mentally transport me to a tropical playland every time I resurrect that 5-track sampler cd a friend left in my car. The music is bold and sometimes tip toes on the dark side with feel-good rhythms balancing out the mood. It’s music for surfing all day, drinking all night and repeating all summer.

Today I’m graciously sharing with you one of our town’s best kept secrets. Honey Hounds is set to release a new EP, Midnight Magic, in the coming months and the debut album No Sleep is now available on Spotify. - Florida Music Blog

"Honey Hounds at Hulaween 2021, WOW!"

If there was an honest surprise Thursday, it came from Honey Hounds (CS), who claim to be a “booty-shakin’ blues trio.” The quartet, dressed in matching ochre suits, might have played some blues, but they offered so much more, reminiscent at times of Umphrey’s McGee, perhaps. Truly solid, great vocals, a “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” singalong, and deluxe falsetto funk. WOW! - Music Fest News

Bio

Since their debut album "No Sleep" in 2016, the deep pocket power trio has evolved into the funky quartet they are known as today.  The hounds are known for their heavy hitting yet soulful rendition of the blues, but their funk, rock and pop influences radiate throughout their catalogue.

A Honey Hounds live show is nothing less than controlled chaos; ranging from soulful ballads to dark disco dance parties, fuzzy riff rock and head banging synth lines to pop sing-alongs and everything in between.  All the while, orchestrating a vibe that is uniquely their own.

Currently releasing singles from their upcoming third studio album, the boys are staying busy between the studio and touring North America.

Honey Hounds have toured with or been direct support to: One Republic, Dumpstaphunk, Sugar Ray, Expendables, Nth Power, Smash Mouth, The Main Squeeze, Badfish, Black Uhuru, Daughtry, Here Come the Mummies, The Hip Abduction, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Donovan Frankenreiter and more.

"It's blues with a touch of funkadelic righteousness and pop sensibility!"
