Harbor Hills

Our story starts back in 2010 when Joel and Shaun started tinkering with the idea of writing music together. The two had met years before when both were in different music groups, but at the time neither were in an active band. After some hesitation, they decided to record some of their original songs together. Hours of recording, 10 bags of beef jerky, and about 20 red bulls apiece later, they finished a 10 song acoustic album. Harbor Hills started to become an idea.

It wasnt until the fall of 2011, that we knew Harbor Hills could become something real. Joel and Shaun decided to revisit the acoustic album and make a few of their originals full band songs. They asked Mark to record drums for them, and after 3 minutes of hearing him play to their tunes, they asked him to join the band. They played a few gigs in 2012, and soon after, they added Michael "Gilly" Wonder Gilchrist on keys. Harbor HIlls became something real. 

Since then, we have taken every opportunity to perform and share our music with everyone. The summer of 2013 included nearly 40 performances in the North Dakota and Minnesota area. We recently released a new 8 song EP called "Safe House EP" in March 2014.
