HAPPY HOUR HOMICIDE
H3 Came about during the chaos 2020 brought us. After the lockdown was initiated, the founders had ample time to work on musical projects, seeing also as how start-up funding was delivered thru this measure, the band came to fruition. H3 blends metalcore, Nu-Metal, with accents of death metal & is the brainchild of founders Keith Lusk & Pat Belcher (Creep), continuing on the path the brothers were once on with their prior band Bone Cauldron.
Founding member Keith Lusk (Guitar/Backing Vocals) formerly of Bone Cauldron & Voices in Darkness hails from the Rock (Town) area of Mercer County in Southern WV.
Co-Founding Member Pat Belcher (Drums) formerly of Bone Cauldron is responsible for the other 50% of the band's material, aside from holding down the rhythm section, he offers lyrical concepts & contexts opposite the band's vocalist & brings his knowledge of music theory into play.
His background in music extends to the age of 13, as he is self-trained on the bass, guitar and drums, all without the ability nor necessity of traditional sheet music.
Steve Tomasik (Vocalist/Lyricist) is one of 2 new additions to the band, hailing from a few hours north of this area, Martinsburg, WV. Steve pilots the band's brutal vocal assaults backed by a novice knowledge in the guitar/distorted likes of deathcore/Nu-Metal. Having a small history in 90’s alternative rock, Steve brings a “Go big or go home” mentality to his style of vocals with more torque, more horsepower and attitude that he generally applies in most projects. He has set an example of what can take years to hone for his particular skill set, with sheer determination & dedication.
Joey Lowe (Bass/Mngt/A&R) (Dragnun) & formerly of (“The BlackMoor Saints, Demonsgrave ) is the 2nd. Of the 2 newest additions, hailing from a mix between Franklin County, Ohio & The Southern WV area, Joey brings a vast knowledge of the business end to the band. With 17+ active years in the industry, O/OP of “Living Dead Recordings”, gives the band an advantage for their early time together. Coming from a strictly horrorpunk musical background, Joey is also a self-trained bass player with aspirations to excel in his first nonpunk band.
Andy Dunn, Former guitarist/ founder of Simsurra and V.I.D.(Voices In Darkness), completes H3's string section occupying the role of lead guitarist.
H3 is currently in the studio working on the final preparations for their debut E.P. “Hollow Point Epiphany” to be released on Living Dead Recordings & digitally in the late spring of 2021.
The band has contracted Mikey Stephenson of Classic Recording Studio in Bristol, VA.
for the full recording & production duties.
In addition, writing & collaboration the follow-up full length LP is also underway.
Both will be released on L.D.R. all rights reserved. 2020-21
