"Hive Mind (H1V3 M1ND) is an American rock band that started as a solo project in 2016. In the beginning, the project existed solely in the recordings generated by lead singer and guitar player Chase McClendon in his home studio in Richland, WA.
Fast forward to June of 2017, after a grueling battle against some of the Tri-Cities finest talent, McClendon found himself competing as a finalist in the Solo/Duo category in the "Rage at the Stage Battle of the Bands" event put on in Richland, WA by Dirty River Entertainment.
McClendon took first place in the event, and won the opportunity to record the single, "Into the Light" with Jason Vorpagal at "Sound Forge Studios".
Dirty River Entertainment says of H1V3M1ND:
""H1V3 M1ND has an intenseness about their performance, lyrics that challenge the status quo, and vocals that sound as if they are coming from the heavens!""
In August of 2017 longtime friend Jason Turner joined H1V3 M1ND as a vocalist and drummer. The duo played their first gig at "The Emerald of Siam" in February of 2018 to a sold out room. H1V3 M1ND continues to record and release singles, book events, and make new friends with every passing gig."
