Gutta Child

Gutta Child born Fredrico Davis in Augusta, GA June 29,1989 is a gifted new artist making a huge impact on the music industry. In 2010 Gutta Child and Marquel Doby, his brother, started their own independent record label entitled F.T.O.D. Entertainment which now stands for (Fighting Towards Our Destination). The current signature brand is a positive path of success for the gifted artist leaving behind what the label letters first abbreviations stood for ( Forever Tool On Deck) which came about after Gutta Child was shot in 2009 and the CEO, Marquel, was shot multiple times. A change in direction was on the rise. 

Born with a major gift, Gutta Child still had major
street ties before really investing full time into the music industry. He gained insight and knowledge about the business structure of running his own independent label as he grew as an independent artist. In 2012 after FTOD rapidly expanded their brand, Gutta Child was offered a single deal in which he turned and went back to the drawing board. Following the refusal of the record deal, Gutta Child released a mixtape entitled “Rags To Riches” that was hosted by DJ Iceburg and Mixtape Monopoly that gained even more exposure for the independent record label in November 2012 . 

After years of investing time and money into his craft Gutta Child begin to reach his peak of the music from a business perspective. He then released two more independent albums from his own record label “Street Poetry" in Feb 2014 and “A Gift And A Curse” in April 2015. His latest work includes a Mixtape entitled "Sacrifices" debuted November 2016 and is available for streaming on all major outlets. With his passion, business mentality, hard work, and talent Gutta Child is destined for huge success in the music industry.
