Gurney is a sludge/doom/death band from Kansas City, Missouri. Conjuring the sound of 4 Orcs hot boxing a monster truck, Gurney keeps it low, slow & disgusting.

Gurney went into the studio with producer Justin Mantooth (Orphans Of Doom, Hyborian) late 2023 and recorded their first official release »The Creeper«. With more music on the horizon and an impeccable merch game, Gurney is just getting started.

Lance “Kük” Collier, former bassist for defunct Midwestern U.S. nü-metal downthesun, has been spending his time in a band dubbed Gurney these days. Can you say a few words about your band?

Kük: Gurney is grossly heavy sludge/death/doom.

Ryan: We just try and play music that we love in hopes that people will be able to connect with it. I love the term SLUDGEDEATHDOOM we have sloganed - Doomed Nation
