Gurl, is Sikh-Punjabi-American-Female recording artist and student from Baltimore, Maryland. She have been writing music since she was a child and now, in her early twenties, she is committed to song-recording. She is very passionate about global social justice issues ranging from gang violence in Central America to sexual violence in the United States. Find her on soundcloud!
The genre of her songwriting and singing are typically contemporary R&B/alternative with a blue-melodic tone. Her goal is to add to the music industry by making her music both interesting and lyrically fulfilling while addressing important topics about our world today.
