Citing his main influences as Black Flag and Lil’ Tracy, the energy he brings to each record creates a whirlwind of madness for the listener to lose themselves in every time. With roots planted in east coast suburbia, ‘$lyce got his start in music as the drummer in a band he and a few friends formed, but his love for instrumental music coupled with a knack for writing ended up birthing a whole new animal entirely. These two passions of his huddled closely under the umbrella that is the brain of Grim$lyce, and he has been honing his craft ever since. With collaborators like Brett Coxy, Tenferno, Lukrative, and other Neilaworld producers backing his outlandish vocal presence he successfully built the sound that his fanbase now clamors for. In establishing this moniker with companies such as Energy Empire and Grooverelly, he brings the world he writes about to real life in striking detail when the spotlights hit that standing room for everyone to see.
