Members of New Orleans based band “Green Gasoline” stopped by the coffee shop with a full tank of rock and roll. These guys are throwbacks to a time when Led Zepplin ruled the world, and they are on their way to do the same. They jammed, they jammed, and then they jammed some more. One of the guys were fresh of a 21st birthday, and still rocked on like there was no tomorrow. Lucky for us, there is a tomorrow, and they will be in it. Bio
Colliding cultural and influential backgrounds in music, formed Green Gasoline in late 2016. Though relatively new in the NOLA music scene, this band takes the "Rock N' Roll" spirit of the old, and melds it with a modern take on progression and feel good grooves.
Rock, Punk, Funk, Pop, Progressive Rock are only some of the subtleties you might notice on their debut Album "Unleaded", but only when you're not getting slammed in the face with full fledged rock! You can find more about this band on their facebook and youtube accounts at GreenGasolineBand. Green Gasoline has opened for Chevelle at the Fllmore New Orleans in the year 2019. Unfortunatley in late 2019 Green Gasoline parted ways with their rhythm guitarist Deneil Alexis. Which had opened the door for Taylor Chellew, a phenomenal guitarist whom acts as a 2nd lead guitarist. The band continued to play shows until the Covid-19 Pandemic arose, which halted live music, along with everything else immediately. Since the 2020 pandemic, GG took the time to produce a music video and brand new EP which was released in late 2020. They have also opened for the one and only NOLA Metal band Crowbar at Southport Hall in 2020.
In the fall of 2021 Green Gasoline hit the studio to record their upcoming album,"Strike When The Iron Is Hot."
