‘Before the show I heard this album on a loop, the sound absorbed me; undiluted rock. This is the type of band that makes me go they should be famous not because they are pop and follow a specific formula but exactly because of the contrary, they are incredible talented musicians, their singer is charismatic and evidently passionate about what he’s singing. I danced and everyone around me danced too, the flow of songs is just perfect, they offered their CD to audience members and I recommend you to get one too’

Brian Moncarz - This week were getting retro with Grass Grows Back and their new hit single 'Woman'. Grass Grows Back 'Woman' 'Generation Next Radio' Rock 94.9 Toronto. Grass Grows Back are clearly influenced by 60's and 70's era rock, in fact, i hear a lot of Stepphanwolf and the doors in this track. As i discussed on 'Generation Next Radio' in the past, i really like the trio format, bands like Cream, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, there's a lot of open space in the music and a lot of room for melody. When i'm in the studio wearing my producers hat i often feel the space between the notes played are just as important as the notes themselves. Grass Grows Back does a solid job of this on Woman.
