Hi GQ $moove, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued a creative career in music and modeling for the simple fact that It brings me the purest form of happiness. music allows me to release all my emotions in very various ways whether happy or sad. music has always been my main outlet to escape the world and look deep inside myself to find my true essence of who I am. modeling gave a platform to express my self love and confidence in a very organic way along with helping me breakout of my comfort zone.



Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
well I’m a hip-hop artist out of Macon,GA. i have a album out right now titled “$moove Wuz Here” that is available on all streaming platforms. I say that my motivation and determination set me apart from others. I pride myself on my “Don’t Quit” attitude because its what has help me to keep going when the times would get hard and difficult. I am most proud of my productivity from this year. I released 2 mixtapes prior to the release of my album on my birthday this year on August 19th. I’ve always wanted to drop a project on my birthday and for a few years that goal would be pushed back due to life situations that would attempt to take away my drive but I overcame and made it happen this year so I was really happy about that. I got to my current position by simply having faith in God, faith in myself, and having the defiant attitude to never quit or give up. most let the hard times stop them from going far or getting ahead but I use those hard time to make me stronger and improve myself not only as a artist but as a Man. it was in no way easy but as my elders would say “anything worth having doesn’t come easy and anything that comes easy isn’t worth having” I’ve learned that patience is a true virtue, to never mix business with pleasure, and always keep God First. I’m still learning as I go so have a lot of lessons to come I want the world to know that I’m hardworking and dedicated to the fullest extent. I give 1000% every time I go to perform or record. I’ve come from some dark places and had to overcome depression and not loving myself for some years and I often find myself still feeling down at times but I’m a work in progress and I continue to evolve everyday. I want to be remembered as a fearless, loving, and passionate artist.



If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to downtown macon and visit some of the awesome black owned businesses that we have. first we could go to Kaviar Beauty Bar or Bluxe Beauty salon and get our appearance together then we would shop at the local sneaker store Global Sole to grab some exclusive gear and threads that night would go to Brookhaven Lounge to enjoy a cigar and food with the smooth sounds of jazz music playing in the background. then I say the best places to visit are downtown in macon but they spread all over the city



The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate this shoutout to God, my mom and dad, and my team. they all hold a special place in my heart and I cherish them more than money and material gains. they all help keep me motivated and on my toes when needed. you need support like that no matter what your profession.
