1. Tell us a bit about Ghost Coast Records.

I was born and raised in East St. Louis Illinois. I started my own record label in 2001. "Ghost Coast Records". I sold a thousand copies out of my trunk. "Heavy Rotation" professional with my own independent money. Then took over the game dropping digital sales an merchandise.

2. What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?

I got hurt at a “White Castle” Restaurant an decide to put my money up to secure my future before I had my son.

3. What’s your favorite thing about your job?

Helping the homeless in East St Louis Illinois.

4. What are your keys to making yourself productive?

Workout everyday eat a healthy meal. Read a book for a hour. Start writing my manuscript for my next book & film. Then record in my personal music studio.

5. Tell us one long-term goal in your career.

To own my own “NBA” franchise an build it in downtown. East St Louis Illinois to help create jobs an put money back in the community.

6. What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?

Trust nobody with your career. Invest in yourself so u can get a return on your money.

7. What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?

Never give up on your dreams.

8. What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Writing different ideas down an create a project from scratch. Play Basketball an Video Games. Spend time with my family.

1. How did you get started in music?

My big brother"Tre"he was a upcoming singer. He wrote music for groups in the neighborhood. He made me an my best friend apart of his group. "Strictly Business" He started taking me to Clayton Studios in "St Louis Mo"That's the moment when he made a legend.

Knowledge,Wisdom,Inspiration,Ambition

3. who’s your biggest musical influence and why?

Tupac Why? Because he represent my struggle. I'm going through it right now in this very moment. He made me want to change the youth on how to think for themselves?



4. What do you want music fans to gain from your music?

Self respect an knowledge of self. Making a difference in your life an those around you. Reach one teach one taking responsibility for your own actions. Changing your way of thinking as a better person in society.

7. What do you think about the music industry overall at this time?

It's bullshit that I will not discuss about because it's pointless to explain something that will get no recognition. I will say this its needs to be some structure on how we tour as independent artist but network with owners of venues who pay out rent. Because it's very little venues in the "STL" & "ESTL" area an it makes me mad that we don't get to play our music. To the real fans that want to hear our material. Midwest need to stand up with radio an venue when it comes to dealing with independent artist.



8. Tell us about some of the collaborations you have out their?

I have none at the moment? Just still working on my production on my album. Collaborations will come soon. I got some surprises can't let out the bag but just be expecting a masterpiece.





9. What type of songs do you like to create the most and Why?

Party music because it makes you feel good specially the ladies. That's just my opinion party music is timeless music.







10. What would you tell an A&R in a meeting, if he/she asked, what would you like for
us to do for you movement at this present time?

"Midwest Style" is the movement so let's market an advertise this movement in the streets an capitalize off this to the masses who get the "Midwest Style" culture.

My "Midwest Style" what I bring to the table. Is legendary status that the world will never see if my career never reach worldwide status. My name will leave a mark on it with flying colors.





14. What is the ultimate venue you'd like to perform in? And why?

Grammy's in LA or NY because it shows my hard work. I put in the game to show my talent an make a great impact on the music industry? St Louis Mo. Bush Stadium would have been my pick but they don't do hip hop concerts there.



15. What would you tell someone that has decided to become an artist today?

Never give up on your dreams.





16. How important is having a sense of fashion to your movement?

My clothing line is my style of fashion that represents my son generations culture. On how they dress cool. I put some 90's style with baggy style but wear a belt to express your fashion.

17. Would you sign with a record label? and why?

A major label deal with the right advancement check. Would help my situation but with a partnership both parties would be satisfied. With a joint 50/50 deal we can make history. I still own my masters but if the majors offer 20 million it's a deal.



18. Do you have any other ventures in play at the moment? If so, what type?

We still going into the independent route for now. We making moves with music licensing an networking with endorsement companies.

19. What is your “Drive” in this Industry?

Make a better hip hop industry for the next generation. Making a better situation for my son G Baby
