Bio
Galaxy Tour Guides are a 3-piece hip hop band with live instrumentation,
blending elements of funk, rock, and electronic dance music. The band consists of Jared Dunn on synth bass and keys, Travis Smith on percussion and vocals, and Lucio handling lead vocals and keys. After performing their first show at the Smoke and Barrel Tavern in March of 2014 with Gift of Gab (Blackalicious), the band took off playing regionally, including performing Music Madness ATX during the SXSW festival in Austin, TX. The band is currently finishing up an EP at East Hall Studios that will be released this Fall. Live performances are accompanied with projection and lighting, as well as an audio adventure through genre's with a energetic purpose to provide a dance party!
