It is always a great pleasure to get to know a musician; not only by listening to their music, but also connecting on a deep level with what they convey to us musically; their lyrics that keep us going; make us go through whatever they have going on; also celebrating with them on every single and album they put out. Such an influence which is highly appreciated when their music impact our lives in a positive way.
Like when Queen Sheena shared with us a Soldier's letter to his wife; that is the story of "VIRGINIA", the Soldier's way of comforting her and his family while he is away defending our freedom.
Queen Sheena's music still spans a broad range of musical styles including classical, jazz, blues, folk, soul, R&B, gospel, and pop like Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin and Brandy who is such an influence holding a precarious position in the pop industry with works that earned numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award, an American Music Award, and Billboard Music Awards to quote a few; same impact as John Legend on the other hand and many more; Queen Sheena mentioned in the GodGivenGifts1 Magazine Issue 02 as cover artist.

BIO
Sheena Fanning “Queen Sheena” was born on July 20, 1987 in Chester, Pennsylvania. Sheena is the last child of her mother, Sarah Young, and father, Thomas Hemingway. Sheena’s mother later married her step-father, William Young, who raised her and her siblings in the South. Her family moved to Columbus, Georgia when Sheena was very young and eventually moved to Phenix City, Alabama. The singer and songwriter suggests that she was given the best of both worlds being born in the city and raised in the country. At the age of 10, Sheena took up a love for writing poetry and singing in her church youth choir. She grew a deep passion for writing poetry, singing, and expressing herself through the arts. In middle school and freshman year of high school, she played the baritone and grew a love for classical music. During her years in high school, she joined the drama club to express her creativity through acting. Around her senior year, Queen Sheena found confidence in her unique voice and writing ability to share with the world. The songstress explained that after writing her first song, she knew that she must manifest her abilities to the world. Years later, Queen Sheena did not only present her individual style, but is also one-third of the hip hop group, Free Will Joe.
