Free Radio is a truly free thinking, free moving, independent hip hop duo intent on awareness. Everything we say can, and will, be used to touch and move YOU.

Our lyrics represent the increasingly large numbers of hip hop listeners and artists who are bored, even insulted, by the stereotypical negligence spreading from within the music industry at large. Since the music industry has chosen to fail us, through their capitalistic bred lifestyles and over all negative portrayal of an entire culture, we have taken it upon ourselves to personally take back music, influence positive change, and fight the purposefully spread madness that has been created.

Our brand of hip hop involves a melting pot of beats by producer/emcee Dirty Frost. With styles that bare resemblance to golden era producers such as Pete Rock, to more modern, dirty south style producers like Manny Fresh, there are links to jazz, blues, afro-latin and rock. All these influences, and more, are soulfully blended into a powerful portrayal of self:  self-leadership, strong will and strength in the form of hip hop.

Though we have performed with a great number of highly respected artists, throughout many genres of music, we refuse to ride anyone's coat tails. When we perform with the up and coming artist who is driven and hungry, it's just as important and as much of a personal thrill, because we too are driven and hungry!
