FORCES

FORCES was formed in Detroit, MI by drummer Ronnie Lee Pasquale in 2015 after the demise of his Lansing, Mi based band, Sin Theorem, who enjoyed success as a National touring act.  After moving back home to Detroit, Pasquale went about finding like minded people to help shape a new sound.  Through a succession of musicians a solid band was formed with the goal of success in the national metal scene.  Vocalist Colton Head joined early on along with guitarist Jonathan Hegg, followed by Dallas Berry on guitar and finally bassist Joey Mann.

From constant gigging through out the Midwest, FORCES have built a strong underground following.  FORCES were able to release their well received self titled EP to a packed house at The Token Lounge in Westland, MI on  April 20th 2018.  That was followed by the bands first time touring the East coast followed by short Midwest tour.  “We have played a lot of three day weekends since the band formed, but the experience of extended touring only fueled us to make our original goal of national recognition a reality” says vocalist Colton Head.

In 2018 the band has kept up a rigorous show schedule and preparing to record their next album this winter.  “We have another EP’s worth of songs roughed out now, but we want to write a little more and hopefully have a full length ready.  Were polishing some new songs to play mixing them in live to gauge the fans response” says guitarist Dallas Berry. 

FORCES have opened for bands like Whitechapel, Thy Art is Murder, Rings of Saturn, Slaughter to  Prevail, Carnifex and many more all over the Midwest.  Guitarist Jonathan Hegg comments “It’s cool when bands that you have listened to for years come up after you’ve played and say they liked what we are doing hopefully it means we are headed in the right direction”.

The band has also enlisted the help of a booking agent and a band manager to really help them push for the next step.  With the state of the recording industry now, FORCES have no illusions of “Making It” the traditional way.  “We've worked hard for every fan we have and we will continue to gain fans every where we go.  We will continue forward with the same determination anywhere there is a stage,”  states drummer Pasquale sharply.

FORCES Is currently looking for new management and a label, and to tour the USA.  FORES is currently working on their next album.
