GREENSBORO–Faye Pruteanu will release her debut album “Head in the Clouds” during a listening party Mar 8, 2024 8pm at Wiseman Brewery in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Tickets are $10 online or $15 at the door, with a $5 discount for students. Admission includes a digital download of her single “Do You?”

About Faye Pruteanu
A musician and lyricist from an early age, Faye grew up near Winston-Salem, North Carolina writing and singing about matters close to her heart, including the highs and lows in life, love and loss, and fictional tales. Inspiration comes from unexpected places, such as books and poems and strangers. For solo acts, Faye sings and plays keyboard, but she sometimes performs with a backing band comprised of a drummer, bassist, and guitarist.

Faye Pruteanu is an indie singer-songwriter and pianist from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With deeply emotional songs that have a tendency to pull at the heartstrings, Faye’s lyricism is evocative of life’s most poignant moments, ranging from mental health struggles to falling in love to the heartbreak that often follows. Creative storytelling meets catchy melodies and dreamy vocals in Faye Pruteanu’s debut album, Head in the Clouds. Faye started writing songs at the age of fourteen, which was preceded by years of writing poetry. Many of these poems and songs have been influenced by her struggle with Bipolar Disorder, but the emotions into which she delves in her music can be understood by most. After spending a year writing her album, the singer-songwriter began attending Guilford Technical Community College to seek out a degree in Recording Engineering and pick up the skills needed to produce and release her music.
