Farewell Friend

The band began in Jamestown NC in a community of artists that meet every Wednesday at the Turntable. Thomas Troyer founded the band with songs that fit together like a liturgy and invited anyone to join as they were to be recorded in 2014.  Michael Kuehn joined to sing and play piano, agreeing with  Troyer that Ray LaMontagne was up to some good. David Wimbish and Troyer go way back working together on arrangements for "solo" shows over the years and demoing tracks back in 2009. Virginia Grey jumped on board to offer violin and viola expertise, after several years of playing hymns and praise songs for college kids out of a living room near UNCG.
