Fade Awaays are a four piece Garage Rock band from Toronto, ON known for their rowdy live sets, sing-along choruses, fuzz-driven guitars, and catchy riffs. The band consists of Reid MacMaster, Owen Wolff, Duncan Briggs, and Sean Hackl; all of whom contribute to lead vocals and songwriting. Because of their strong group dynamic, the band has risen to the forefront of the rock scene in the city.
Fade Awaays have released their music through local Toronto art collective/label FRIED Records and have played many of Toronto's most famous venues, such as the Horseshoe Tavern, Mod Club Theatre, and Danforth Music Hall. They have played alongside international acts such as Wolf Alice, Public Access TV, Hot Flash Heat Wave, and The Sherlocks.
After getting started in the Toronto club scene, the band has been relentlessly gigging throughout the city and beyond, setting out on multiple tours across Canada. The band has appeared at Canadian music festivals such as CMW, NXNE, Trapdoor Fest, Indie Week and were named one of Dan Burke's Class of 2018 graduates.
