Eydn ( born Sheniqua Walker) is a woman on a mission. A true Houston, Tx native the singer-songwriter grew up in a family with a lineage of talents that include Music, Fashion Design, Cosmetics and even Culinary Arts. Her earliest memories of music were influenced by going to church. At only 4 years old she would get her first opportunity to show her God given talent by leading songs in the church choir with peers much older than herself. As Eydn grew she developed a love for R&B music. “Taking those rides with my mom at night from Grandmas and sometimes the sitter I’d hear all the Greats on our Local station from Whitney, to Sade, from Luther to Anita. How could you not love those artists.” She reflects. 

As a budding vocalist honing her craft things took a turn in her teen years as she gave birth to her first child. Treading through understanding life, school and being a Mom she found her spark again as a support vocalist for a Gospel music artist. Though challenging Eydn went on to record several Albums for Prominent Gospel acts as well as become a regular touring and session vocalist. “Working with Sacred music Artists pushes you to go beyond what you think you’re capable of “ Eydn says. 

Later on she would record her first Gospel EP “The Making of Wake Up” under her then moniker Niqui Donye as a test for herself which taught her about the inner workings of being a Recording Artist. Many moons and transformations have come to bring her a New perspective in her musical journey.
