Bio
Though his journey still continues, rising west coast rapper Expoze (Albert Arvallo) has persevered through life's challenges, which have undoubtedly made him the strong artist he is today. He is doing his best to successfully turn the product of poverty and a difficult upbringing into his own personal story of triumph. Just as he turned to music as a child to help him cope with hard knocks, his music is still a rock of survival.
Albert Expoze Arvallo could have easily taken a turn for the worst when he began roaming the streets with a graffiti crew and busting tags. After spending 8 months in a juvenile institution he turned to freestyling and developed a rhyme, which he would later capitalize on. Once he began college, Expoze took a positive turn and began battling other rappers at local venues weekly honing his skills of rhyme and delivery. He soon took the initiative to start making beats and produced his own songs, which led to his enrollment in the audio engineering school, LARS. There he learned from the pros how to run a studio. Expoze educated himself on everything from SSL boards to ProTools and as a result earned a certification in Audio Engineering.
Since returning to his hometown of Bakersfield, California he has achieved his goal to blow up as an artist. Expoze wasted no time and dropped 5 projects that he wrote, mixed, and produced himself. His skills landed a song in the film American Son, featuring superstar Nick Cannon that won awards at film festivals. Also keeping himself at the forefront of the stage, he is earning new fans daily opening for everyone from the Ying Yang Twins to KRS-ONE. Always ambitious he later used his knowledge in music and began spinning records as a Dj. He soon became the producer of his own radio show what would play every week during prime time at a local F.M station. Still with all these achievements, Expoze considers them to be stepping-stones to a bigger picture, which is to not only to be a artist but a music icon.
