Bio

Erin has worked on various production crews for artists such as Puss n Boots’ featuring Norah Jones, Catherine Popper, and Sasha Dobson, Kathy Mattea, Diane Schurr, Papo Vasquez, and John Pizzarelli, among others.

She grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia getting her start in the music industry early. “Music has always been a constant in my life, I remember my first concert was Cher and Cyndi Lauper at three years old. Concert production has always been where my heart resided.”

Her work with Chaplin’s Music Café in Spring City, Pennsylvania came about after she came into contact with the general manager Chris Cachuela. “Chris is awesome. He let someone with no experience in the technical side of concerts come into his venue and learn. I interned shows for a couple months, shadowing their other engineers, while simultaneously being in over my head engineering open mics. Chaplin’s, but especially Chris, is partially responsible for where I am today.” She still works with Chaplin’s being solely responsible for the all of the audio for open mic nights, no longer in over her head, very confident in what she does. She has engineered shows for them when needed.

By her senior year of high school, she was doing freelance work for various local artists. “It’s a challenge. I think some of that pressure is what I love about it. Everyone is looking at you, and if there is a problem, you have to be able to know exactly what the issue is and fix it quickly.”

“New bands and venues still scare me to this day. Chaplin’s is comfortable to me. I know how all the frequencies respond and how to get a good sound out of a band. What scares me is not knowing, but that is also part of the adrenaline rush.”

To her, music is a matter of survival. “Music has gotten me through so many different situations in my life. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life, especially being a free-spirited vagabond, I find peace in being on the road and sleeping in a different city every night.”

Erin will be moving to Nashville in August as a freshman at Belmont University studying audio engineering and music business.  “I’m so excited to fall in love with Nashville, even more than I already am in love with Nashville now.”
