Bio
Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Eric now resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he leads the Eric DiSanto Band, a three piece electric blues band. Eric's style of slide guitar playing has been compared to Ry Cooder, Sonny Landreth, and Keb Mo.
His solo acoustic shows are filled with original music, covers and story telling.
Also a part time resident of Nashville, Eric has established himself as a session player and backing guitar player for many aspiring vocalists in the local songwriting community.
In the fall of 2007, Eric released his first solo CD: "I'll Sail My Ship From Here"
In the summer of 2016, Eric released his second cd "Two"
When not performing original music, Eric is the guitarist for Baton Rouge based cover band Soundbyte.
Eric is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, the Baton Rouge Blues Society and is also affiliated with ASCAP (Toes in the Sand Music).
