Here is the story of Embrad, formerly Mike Bradley and the Bricktown Mafia. Some of it is actually true. For as long as he can remember, the blues has been in Mike “MBrad” Bradley’s soul. While his musicianship is imbedded in the blues, Mike has never been limited by genres, writing a variety of songs with rock and country vibes. His first album entitled “Kewl Water” was released in March, 2016. After performing solo for over 25 years, it was time to share the fun. Mike found an extraordinary bassist and exceptional drummer in the strangest of places, church. Sean Ozee, the youngest member of the band, has been a theatre performer, voice artist and musician for most of his life. Sean provided the bass as well as background vocals. Jeff Hart, a Neil Peart disciple, balances a real estate career, a wife and child. Busy man, bad ass drummer. But something else was needed to allow Mike to do his thing on the harp. Enter Mike Duggins. Mike or “Big Mike” to distinguish, has been a rhythm guitarist for over 30 years. Big Mike lays down the rhythm licks and vocals. The band began to find their sound, with some success. But then the story gets good. Sean was scheduled to work the night of a show. Another bassist was hired. Then Sean found he didn't have to work and volunteered to play some lead guitar. HOLY SMOKES. The boy could rake. So we needed another bassist. Welcome Wayne Smith, a jamming buddy of Mike's with tons of experience.
