Kemostry and K. Swats second collaborative project “Haze and Zinfandel 2” truly embodies the golden era of Hip-Hop. These two Juzz Born entertainment artists have done it again.
Almost every track is filled with 90’s nostalgia, taking you back to the good old days when rap was more than just mumbling melodies. Everything from the production, samples, and lyrics show that this project is catered to every true hip-hop head.
Even though both Kemostry, and K. Swats are born & breed Brooklyn boys, the early west coast influence is undeniable. You can notice it on most of Kemostry’s production throughout the album. Especially on songs like 420, Sunshine, Ain’t no Fun, and Moonlight. All of the melodies, flows, and lyrics bring you back to the g-funk days of Nate Dogg, and Warren G.
However, I wouldn’t classify this as a west coast influenced album, as it truly is much more.
Kemostry, and K.Swats both display their versatility switching up their flows, melodies, and even singing. After listening to their current single called “Devil on Your Shoulder”, It almost seems as if they can change between genres seamlessly incorporating funk, and soul into their music.

East Krown is a hip-hop/soul/funk/R&B duo. Hailing from Brooklyn, Kemostry and K. Swats have been long time friends, collaborating on many musical projects over the years.
Kemostry
As a producer, audio engineer, songwriter/rapper, and founder of Juzz Born Entertainment, Brooklyn-born Kemo Randolph wears many hats as an independent artist. With 10 years of industry experience behind him, Kemo, or Kemostry, as he is known by fans, knows a thing or two about what makes a song pop. His unique beats and unapologetic lyrics make for a bold, edgy sound that appeals to the masses while relating to the individual—a sensation that can easily be attributed to the artist’s sense of musical—we’ll just go ahead and say it— chemistry.
Like many artists, Kemostry’s foundation can be traced back to his childhood. Listening to his grandmother fill the home with melodies from the piano is what inspired a young Kemo’s appreciation for music, and as an artist today, he has inherited a similar dedication to his own craft. As a former athlete, Kemostry has retained a competitive spirit that is most evident in his hustle, and when combined with his dedication, this artist runs on an unstoppable drive that keeps him on top of his game— on stage, and in the studio.
With a daily goal of becoming better than the day before, it’s safe to say that the best is yet to come for Kemostry. And with a personal mantra that reminds him to seize the day (carpe diem), there’s no doubt that he’ll do whatever it takes to beat that personal best. K. Swats
Artist and producer, Kareem “K-Swats” Simon has a lot of —more than enough to go around. And it is through this pride— in both his music and his culture— that the young Brooklynite out of Crown Heights hopes to demonstrate the power of Black ambition while spreading good vibes and dishing out some soulful rhetoric.
With five years of music-making experience behind him, K-Swats has developed his lyricism into timeless expressions of love, lust, and life itself. Spanning genres of R&B, hip-hop, pop, and reggae, this artist’s discography includes an array of different sounds and beat compilations that are sure to catch anyone’s ear.
