New York emcee E-Prosounds shares a hallucinating visual for "Eeze Out," taken from his debut album, "The Divine Mind." Directed by Will Lucas - Hip Hop DX
NY’s E-Prosounds is an emcee that rhymes with a mesmerizing and direct style, as showcased on his au-gratis debut offering, The Divine Mind. For his latest effort, the Rockland County spit kicker has just unveiled the visuals for the previously released leak “Eeze Out.” Directed by surrealism aficionado Will Lucas, who’s worked often with Adrian Lau — the first artist that was signed to Harry Fraud’s Surf School label — the video has E-Pro spitting alongside a shlew of characters and icons, all over a hazy and disorientating backdrop. Whereas the video plays out like a Hunter S. Thompson’esque drug trip, E-Pro’s rhymes provide a sense of solace as he speaks on commentaries within the rap game. - KevinNottingham.com
Hazy, surrealist shapes and colours meshed together with lions and Disney princesses. Of course, none of these things make any sense until you peep the latest video from E-Prosounds. "Eeze Out," with it's strange yet spellbinding images that draw you in like an optical illusion, is a visual treat through and through. E-Pro's monotone and profound intellectual style stem from his raw East Coast upbringings and he raps in such a way that you'll pick up a previously undiscovered entendre upon each listen. Last month's The Divine Mind (you can check out that album here) had the Rockland County native do his thing without getting too esoteric and "Eeze Out" is definitive track to get you addicted to his sound. With bars that mention everyone from Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder to the late Sam Kinison, it's impossible to not appreciate E-Pro's slick rhyme scheme. If you like your raps super experimental without being a lyrical miracle spiritual dude, bump this one and pick up the album. - Earmilk.com
New comer E-Prosounds is an emcee/producer who has obviously done his homework judging from what I’m hearing right now. His sound is smooth, vintage and retrospective; the flow is consistent, confident and on point. ‘GW Bridge’ is the first single off his upcoming debut album The Divine Mind and it’s pretty solid to say the least. - thewordisbond.com
Eprosounds is an artist that’s been on my radar for a good time now and with his latest release “GW Bridge” it was about time I introduce him to FNT. If you’re from the NYC/NJ area you know all about the GWB. I can’t help but reminisce over this original old school hip hop production by E-Pro, and his laid back non-chalant flow centered around a bridge that’s been a huge part of my life growing up. This is the MC’s debut single off his upcoming free album “The Divine Mind,” which will be available February 13th, and I invite you all to check out. This is a must listen and a must download! - freshnewtracks.com
More often than not, the well skilled and intellectual side of hip hop tends to be separated from the pop champagne-ers and partygoers. While there isn't anything inherently wrong with it (as much as I love guys like Aesop Rock and Sage Francis, I don't want to hear their music when I go to the club,) I'd argue that, because of the over saturated nature of these club bangers and the simplicity it takes to write them, their shelf lives are limited. Though the barrier of entry for what most heads classify as "conscious rap"--though I despise that term-- is higher and requires some searching, it's more than worth it once you find that hot track.
Alas, The Divine Mind from NY emcee E-Prosounds is one project that perfectly encapsulates the East Coast sound without coming across as fake or pretentious. It's a refined and smooth tape that can complement a frantic Monday rush or a chilled out Sunday afternoon. With tracks like "Eeze Out" and "Doin It" E-Pro proves his word play is on point ("I got an even flow like my name is Eddie Vedder, very better,") as his brooding voice gels well with the various boom bap instrumentals. Give this one a bump and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. - Earmilk.com
Enter The Divine Mind. It is an ethereal dimension that allows you to perceive this world with clarity and super smooth beats. The debut project from E-Prosounds is the story of a refined lyrical creative who shares his travels in the everyday world that everyone else just wanders through. It serves as a collection of moments that give you the foundation of how E-Prosounds came to be. He flirts with ideas of Creationism to the extended mental escapes he takes where his other world thoughts stem from. Sit way back and enjoy the experience. No performance enhancing drugs or samples were used, so please don’t put any asterisks after the numbers this project puts up. Just 100% organic Hip-Hop. - KevinNottingham.com
E-Prosounds provides some smooth, nostalgic throwback sound on his debut LP The Divine Mind. The self-produced project has that laid back, soulful, 90s feel. Well crafted, structured and easily appealoing to heads, he may not be the greatest individual to grip the mic but E-prosounds delivered the goods to the best of his ability. No gimmicks,no tricks, just straight up good old hip-hop.
A solid effort if I may add. - thewordisbond.com
It happens all the time: a person who knows nothing about hip hop turns on the TV and sees a music video full with half-naked women and stacks of money. After a mixture of jealousy and disgust sets in, they jump to conclusions and assume that this is the standard that all artists hold themselves to. While this "money, cash, females" type music may be one form of the genre, it's foolish to chastise an entire type of music based on the stylings of a few prominent artists. Even though there isn't anything wrong with the aforementioned style that seems to get a lot of hate from others, E-Prosounds simply isn't about that life.
E-Pro comes from a time where lyrics were held in the highest regard. If you weren't nice with the mic, you would've been eaten alive, or in this case, erased. A self produced joint from the Rockland County spitter, "Erase" is the warning shot for all the wack rappers out there. With a trippy video that borrows from Richard Mosse and his brand of colour infrared film, the laid back beat contrasts well with E-Pro's braggadocios rhymes.

All of you lyrical fans out there will dig this one, as E comes equipped with plenty of punchlines--my favourite being, "you gotta earn this, it takes years of practice/ I never took no roids so my records don't have asterisks"--that call out the flavour-of-the-week rappers who are only in it for the fame. Sure, calling out fake cats has grown to be a hip hop cliche, but E-Pro's got the energy and the talent to back it up. E-Prosounds' The Divine Mind is out now, so pick it up today and show some love to the New York native. - Earmilk.com
One of the crowning achievements of adolescence is moving up from taking notes with a pencil to the permanence of a pen. Similar to the rap game, E-Prosounds has graduated to that higher level of learning and with honors at that — he’s come equipped with an eraser to take out the phonies and cornballs. For E-Pro’s latest visuals “Erase,” director Will Lucas borrows a page out of a book from photographer Richard Mosse, to alter your perception of reality. The self produced Zen inducing sounds serves as a meditative afterthought of his confident boasting. And for those keeping track at home, asterisks need not apply here as his records are all natural, home grown, made in the USA with smooth flows and soothing beats. “Erase” comes off of E-Pro’s The Divine Mind debut project, which is now available for free download. - deadendhiphop.com
There is something about E-Prosounds music I just can’t figure out. He’s not exactly a backpacker, battle emcee or some emo lyricist. He’s just a kid who makes vintage beats and can rap well. ‘Erase’ is the second visual from his recent project The Divine Mind and, once again, he proves to be far from the norm. A very atypical set of visuals is what is presented here by director Will Lucas: simple shots laced with weird (I don’t know the precise term) photography and colour. I’m not a video person but I know this is not a usual hip-hop video – a direction which is not a bad thing anyway. Different and unique are the two words to end this conversation.
Tune in and get with the program. - thewordisbond.com
Being new to the E-Prousounds way of life, I wasn’t sure what to expect so what I had to do was just press play. The instrumental hit hard and I was very impressed by what I was hearing. Then he started to rhyme and you know, I like what I hear. As he says in the chorus, he wants to embrace his art and show how true he is to this, especially when you also know that he produced the track himself. He knows how he wants to be heard, and this is a glimpse of what he has achieved so far. - thisisbooksmusic.com

Bio
All the way out in Rockland County, NY, the spirit of DITC and classic 90's boom bap is strong with a 24 year old rapper/producer. E-Prosounds, can't stop Hip-Hop from running through his veins. Whether it's thinking of writing rhymes, tapping out beats, cutting up records, or the occasional tag, E-Pro lives and breathes this stuff.
Although he started recording rhymes on his mom's computer in High School, he started seriously conceptualizing his music in 2013. His days of listening to CD 101.9 FM Smooth Jazz and love of 90's Hip-Hop heavily influenced his somber, dense style. E-Pro's deliberate choice of a serious feel comes from his goal of making you really reflect on his music, as if you were on a subway watching graffiti pass you by. He may come across as cocky at times, but it's evenly balanced by his thoughtful opinions on deeper themes. When asked what he'd like his legacy to be like, he replied with "I'd just like to be someone who made quality music and stayed true. It'd be cool if people uploaded my music and shared it on their own, if I get love for years to come that's good as well as getting respect from people I admire."
