DWIGHT COLEY

Dwight Coley (formally known as Dwight Anderson) is a Canadian singer/songwriter who's soulful sound and style is derivative of his Jamaican roots and years of being reared in church. You can hear the Toronto native's artistry has been influenced by musical greats such as Stevie Wonder, Al Green, D'Angelo, and Musiq Soulchild, just to name a few, yet Dwight has definitely developed a unique style of his own. Dwight's first taste of success came when he released his single "Oh No", which became a hit, garnering major radio airplay. As one of the most requested songs of the year, "Oh No" ranked at #53 on the Flow 93.5 FM's Top 93 songs of 2003. Following the success of "Oh No", Dwight released the music video for the single, which was in heavy rotation on Much Music, Much Vibe, and Much More Music. Dwight kept the momentum going as he released other successful singles "Holdin' On",  and "So Beautiful". 

Not only has Dwight crafted hits for himself, but for other established artists. His songwriting and vocal contributions includes Canadian Idol's runner up Gary Beals' major self-titled debut album. Dwight co-wrote two songs, "Memories" and the lead hit single "Summer Nights" which peaked at #4 on the Canadian Singles Chart. The album became a top 10 hit, earning a Juno nomination for Best R&B/Soul Recording in 2005

In 2011 Dwight released his soulful debut project "All Of Me". The 11 track compilation which includes his previous radio hits, instantly caught the attention of the masses around the world and solidified him as both a soulful singer and songwriter. 

Over the years the Dwight continued honing his craft and working behind the scenes, but now he has returned to the forefront with the release his latest EP titled, 'A New Beginning'. The 5 track EP offers songs that delivers a perfect blend of r&b, neo soul and hip hop, infused with immaculate vocal delivery and his heartfelt lyrics about love and life. The songs are relatable, with a soulful vibe and catchy after the first listen. The EP is already gaining success in the UK as the song "So Much More" peaked at #1 on the Radio Airplay Experts UK charts as well as the Urban Influencer UK charts, which proves that music listener's are connecting with Dwight's artistry. Both hopeful and grounded, it's safe to say that Dwight Coley is definitely on his way to becoming a major innovative artist in today's music scene.
