Duncan Ivany & The North Coast Band is a indie-folk-rock trio out of Guelph, Ontario. There eclectic sound of acoustic, electric and bass guitars merge together with light percussion and heavy vocal melodies and harmonies.
Previously know as "Dickie & The Boys", brothers Duncan and Connor Ivany have had 6 years of gigging experience of over 60 venues around Ontario and Manitoba.
The North Coast Band consists of bassist/vocalist Wesley Morrison, and guitarist/vocalist/percussionist Connor Ivany, with front man/lead vocals/guitar Duncan Ivany. Artists like Rob Knaggs and Shane Gray collaborate on recorded tracks, but are not considered to be in the core group of The North Coast Band.
Duncan Ivany & The North Coast band released their debut single "Restless" on February 15th, with its music video following up on March 1st.
Their debut EP, "The Peg Sessions" recorded in Winnipeg, Manitoba was released Friday March 22nd to all streaming sites.
Our second EP, "The Cabin Demos" recorded in our rehearsal space in Hillsburgh, ON will be release April 19th which includes 3 new songs.
A Canadian Tour is planned for Oct 23rd - Nov 17th, with an album coming out mid-October with all new material.
With the album, EPs and singles, Duncan Ivany & The North Coast Band will have a 20 song original set to tour. We love music, and just want to grow and share with the music community.
